Umejero - Bali

Vila Sangkih is situated on a clove and coffee farm in the remote area of Umejero, high up in the hills of Northern Bali, two-and-a-half hours from the international airport.  Very few other properties on the island can match the stunning views from Vila Sangkih.

The Balinese understanding of the word 'sangkih', the local name for the hill on which Vila Sangkih is built,  is symbolic of the spirit of nature, providing source of life and prosperity for people and their farms..

Completed in early 2001 this 2-bedroom/2 bathroom home has been designed in traditional Balinese style. Open living areas and terraces are surrounded by water, maximizing stunning views down the valley over ever-changing rice terraces to the sea.  Rich red sunsets, mountains and volcanoes are all a part of the ultimate in idyllic peace and seclusion unique to rural Bali, and which this villa offers as its backdrop.

There are two bedrooms arrived at across two small bridges, each having its own outdoor bathroom - one with jacuzzi. There is a fully equipped western kitchen, outdoor barbeque and bar area.
